Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to manage and maintain our Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux environments, virtualization, and server management, along with strong troubleshooting and team management skills.

 

Roles & Responsibilities : 

1. System Administration:

   • Manage and maintain Linux servers, including CentOS, Fedora, and RHEL.
   • Implement RAID levels and ensure high availability of systems.
   • Create and manage user accounts and enforce password policies.

2. Server and Virtualization Management:

   • Manage physical and virtual servers on ESXI, Hypervisor, and Citrix platforms.
   • Perform automated installations of Linux servers and maintain virtual networks.

3. Network and Security:

   • Configure and manage firewalls (IPTables, CSF, Firewalld).
   • Implement network security policies and manage Squid Proxy for content filtering.

4. Database and Application Management:

   • Work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
   • Manage cPanel, Apache, Tomcat, and other applications.

5. Troubleshooting and Monitoring:

   • Handle escalations for Level 3 issues and perform advanced troubleshooting.
   • Use monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and Zenoss for system health checks.

6. Backup and Recovery:

   • Ensure robust backup solutions are in place for data security.

7. Team Leadership and Communication:

   • Lead and manage a team of administrators effectively.
   • Communicate issues and solutions clearly across teams.

8. Scripting and Automation:

   • Write scripts for task automation and batch processing.

9. Networking Services:

   • Manage and configure services like DHCP, DNS, FTP, NFS, and Samba.

Required Key Skills : 
VM Ware/openstack/xenservw/hyperv /proxmox. Google/AWS /Azure . Zabbix / Nagios . Zimbra / exim / exchange . Ansible / Puppet .
